Hey There! My name is Gillian. I'm a 23 year-old professional figure skater and coach living in southern New Hampshire.
I started this blog in 2012 as a homeschooled Freshman, for the simple reason that I loved writing (and let's be real: talking about myself), and had fallen in love with scrolling through the archives of some of my favorite bloggers. Eight years later, I still love recording the sometimes crazy, sometimes simple, things that make up our lives.
Right now, work is full of lots of fun things: skating in professional shows, working as a skate technician at Home Ice Boston, and coaching figure and hockey skaters.
Life also holds: working on my personal skating, staying involved with TOI Boston and American Ice Theater, practicing yoga, journaling, visiting every bar that has live music, reading, and cooking real food.
I live in a downtown, attic apartment with my boyfriend, Chris, Charlie the cat, and Bear the German Shepherd. I love to travel, camp, and get away for the weekend, and when skating brings me to new places.
You can find me: listening to audiobooks in my car, bundled up at the rink, having a beer on our porch, or out on a walk.
